Oh What A Beautiful Morning

Look what we woke up to this morning!! I had pretty much given up on any white weather this year, but with Texas you never know. This week we have had rain, two days of beautiful sunshine, more rain, snow, and now it is once again clear and sunny.

I was so jealous yesterday when I heard my brother was getting snow in McKinney. We had been in Dallas all morning, but I guess just not far enough north. All we had was cold, nasty rain. Seriously, if it is going to be that cold and wet it should at least be snow.

Diego loves the cold weather. He loves to just sit on the back porch when it is freezing. I have to make him come inside so his paws don't get too cold. I sometimes feel sorry for him that he has to put up with so much Texas heat. I'm sure he would be so happy to live in Colorado.

Moose's first snow

He ran all over the backyard like crazy. I think he likes it as much as Diego. There were a few times where he looked at me with snow on his nose. It would have made for such a cute picture but he was just too fast. He was having way too much fun to cooperate with my picture taking.

And as usual, I don't have any pictures of Brinkley in the snow. He is a true Texas dog and could lay in the sun for hours. He hates cold weather, hates getting his feet wet, and really hates the snow...cold and wet, a terrible combination. He only went outside this morning to take care of business and then ran back inside after 30 seconds.

What a fun treat! I'm so glad we got one last taste of winter. Now I am officially ready for spring and warm weather!
