Enjoying a Little Treat

Question...What is the one thing that will keep two very active little boys still and mesmerized for ten whole minutes?

Answer...Watching Lightening McQueen Cookies bake in the oven.  I kid you not...they stood at the oven the ENTIRE time the cookies were baking just watching them until they were done.

It doesn't get much better for two car loving boys than eating McQueen cookies...they were so excited (we talked about them all day long after buying them at the grocery store).

What a fun little after dinner treat!

Lazy Friday Morning

Jeff has been out of town for the last few days for work and we have been spending our time while he is away hanging around the house enjoying lots of playtime.  Since today was Friday I thought we all deserved a little treat for breakfast.  We got up and went in our jammies through the drive-thrus of two of our favorite spots...Shipley's for the boys and Starbucks for me.  Once we came home and had our breakfast while watching a little Sesame Street it was right back to lots of playtime.

This morning it was all about cars...really, when is it NOT. ALL. ABOUT. CARS!  Have I mentioned we might have a little car obsession?!?!  Today all the cars were lined up to watch McQueen and Francesco race around the track.  How I LOVE to watch them play and use their imaginations.

Watering with Daddy

While I am not an outside person the boys absolutely LOVE it.  Even in 100 degrees they would stay outside all day if I let them.  Here they are one evening last week hanging with Jeff while he was watering a spot on our grass.

We also LOVE water just about as much as being outside.  It was quite an adventure walking through the little stream created by the hose...oh to enjoy the little things in life!

Lovin' some summer fun outside!

Daddy's Hats

If I don't take a shower in the morning before the boys get up, I'm usually jumping in and out as fast as I can to prevent the tornado that happens in my bathroom/bedroom/closet from two littles and four dogs.  In the 30 seconds it takes me to take a shower the boys are usually in the bathtub with all of our pillows, or walking around the bathroom in Jeff's or my shoes (this is of course after ALL shoes have been pulled off the shelves), or running around terrorizing the pups.

One morning this week while making a tornado out of my closet they found a few of Jeff's baseball caps, put them on and ended up wearing them all morning.  Here are a few pics of my future baseball players...
