Besides getting used to a fourth dog in the house here are a few things we have been up to...
My parents came to visit for a week at the end of July. It is always fun to have them here since we don't get to see them that often. We ate out every meal so my parents could get their fill of yummy Texas food, went shopping, made a trip to Salado and the outlet mall in Round Rock, and drove around Waco looking at all of the houses for sale (it wouldn't be a trip to Waco without the three of us trying to convince my dad to move here).
My nephew turned one on August 2nd and we went to Dallas for his birthday party. It seems like yesterday we were driving to Dallas to see him for the first time and now he is already one...he's growing up so fast. I took a few pictures from my sister-in-law's blog of Carson with his baseball cake. He wasn't too sure about all of the icing on his hands.

We went to see The Dark Night a few weeks ago and I loved it. It is rare that we go to the movies, but I wanted to see this one in the theater. We have Netflix and our movie room, so I would much rather stay at home in my comfy clothes to watch a movie. That, and the teacher in me is always afraid that I'm going to get lice from resting my head on the back of the chair. I'm sure I'm the only one with this phobia.
We have been addicted to the Olympics...how can anyone not be? I love it all...the swimming, gymnastics, diving, track events. Come next week I think I'll be going through withdrawl.
We went to Houston last weekend to see Jeff's parents. We hadn't been all summer and went to see his dad's new house that he bought in town.
And it wouldn't be a post without a few pictures of the pups. Here is the gang on the way to Houston, before Sawyer's car sickness began. He never seemed upset or looked sick, but threw up once on the way to Houston and twice on the way back. We had to pull over at a gas sation in College Station for me to clean everything. I think the dog comforter we use for traveling has seen it's last day.

Poor Moose...could he be any more pathetic?
