Weekend Review

Jeff's dad came into town on Friday and stayed with us this weekend. He was here to get our guest bedroom furniture to take to Houston for his new house. I have been wanting to switch out the furniture with some new stuff we bought last year and just never got around to it. This was the perfect opportunity for me to switch things up. They braved the 40 degree weather and loaded it all up. It was a little sad to see it go...it was the first pieces of furniture I bought for my first apartment and what we had in our bedroom when we first got married. The sadness only lasted for a few minutes until I began to think about how I was going to decorate the new guest bedroom. I am ready to start painting and shopping!

After moving all of the furniture, Jeff and his dad went to the Baylor Basketball game and then we went to Allie and Emmie's birthday party. Our friends Cathy and Trey had a combined party for them since their birthdays are so close together. We had yummy cookie cake, jumped in the jumper and went on a bear hunt to find teddy bears. I think I had as much fun as all of the kids...everyday should be filled with jumpers and cookie cakes!
