Before the boys were born I scrapbooked all of the time, but with teaching and everything else in life I got behind and eventually stopped. It was something I enjoyed but it became all about the paper and cute embellishments more than the pictures. I would spend hours on pages and it just took way too long.
Now that the boys are here I really have no time for it even if I wanted to do it. So...now I put together photo books instead of scrapbooking. It still takes me some time but it is definitely a project I can handle. Since I have this blog to record all of our memories {that I plan on also turning into a book} my photo books are mainly just pictures.
Ethan and Evan's Year One Book
I did my book through Blurb and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out. The best thing about Blurb is that you can have up to 440 pages {sounds like a lot but I ended up with 398} and you can edit your layout to look however you want. I had full control over how each and every page turned out.
I can't tell you how many times I have sat and looked through this book and I love that the boys have it to look at when they get older.
398 pages of memories...
almost 1000 pictures...
getting to relive our first year...
over and over again...
PRICELESS!!
