Pumpkin Patch 2012

We took the boys on our annual trip to the pumpkin patch...there's just something about going and picking out pumpkins for our front porch that makes it officially fall for me.  The weather is still way too hot for me in October so picking out pumpkins totally gets me in the mood for football, fires in the fireplace, soup on the stove and decorating the house.  The boys absolutely LOVE pumpkins and were so excited to go pick some out.  All week it was all they could talk about.

Sadly, there were not nearly as many pumpkins as last year.  You could barely see the grass last year and there were also all kinds of different colored pumpkins...not so much this year.  There were still a lot just not a crazy amount...still enough for the boys to run around and have fun with.

First we ran around and looked at all of the big ones so I could find a few for our porch.  The boys tried to pick them up and rolled a few around but were much more excited about the little baby pumpkins.

Cutest little pumpkins ever...we could have stayed here all day, the boys loved them so much.

Trying to get as many as he could.

We ended our trip by taking a few pictures by the scarecrow.  The pumpkins were way more interesting so I knew a good picture was not happening...

One child smiling.

Evan with a funny smile and Ethan has had enough.

And we're all done for today...don't they look absolutely thrilled?!?!

Until next year pumpkin patch...we had so much fun!
