A Few Distractions

Yesterday morning I woke up with a sore throat and feeling achy all over...not just a little achy, but the kind where the tips of your fingers and even your hair hurts. Since I'm a baby when I don't feel good, it was a perfect excuse to lay in bed all day and watch TV...so from around 10ish until 9:00 last night I watched an entire season of America's Next Top Model. Talk about LAZY...the dogs were quite happy with my sickliness and joined in on the napping and not doing anything all day party. I did eventually make it to the shower and take some Tylenol in an attempt to not let the entire day go to waste. I am feeling much better today which is good because I had to be up at 8:00 ready to say good bye to these guys...

Also, in an effort to make it an even more exciting day at our house, I had to be ready for drywallers. Jeff and I built our house during an extremely dry year for Texas, but then experienced one of the wettest years after moving in. Our house moved a lot in the settling process causing a few cracks, and this is the week we are finally getting them fixed. Below are a few pictures of the madness we are living in for the next few days...and I thought I wasn't going to have enough to keep me distracted until Thursday...how silly of me.
