9 week ultrasound picThe next two are from our ultrasound last Thursday (11 weeks). Everything looked great. We could see their legs, arms, hands and feet. Both were moving all around, legs bending and kicking...by far the coolest thing I've ever seen...such a miracle! The second picture seems a little smaller because that baby is positioned a little further away and my doctor had to zoom back out to get a better view.

Hey Amy,I am so thrilled about the twins!! Penelope told us your big news a while back and everybody at Woodway is so excited and happy for you. She also sent me your blog. I love your story about the moment you found out you were pregnant. You should write that down for the babies or type it on a page in a digital photo book with pictures of you getting ready for them.
I wanted to share an idea my cousin had for when you get to hear the heartbeats. She took a recordable sound box from Build-a-Bear to her ultrasound and recorded the baby's heartbeat on it. Then she went back and put the sound box in a bear for her baby. The babies spend 9+ months listening to heartbeats and it's soothing to them after they're born. Thought it was a neat idea and just wanted to share!

amy!! congratulations! i was just reading through your blog and saw that you are having twins. i am so excited for you. what a treat! i look forward to reading more. ps. i totally chuckled when i saw that you bought 2 diaper bags for black and brown outfits. i wish i was that on top of it in life. YAY for babies!!
