Snips and Snails

The Burchfield BOYS are on their way!!! I will forever be outnumbered with Jeff, four boy dogs, and two little boys, which is fine by me. Our ultrasound went great on Tuesday. It is always so exciting to get to see the babies. Even though I couldn't wait to know what we were having, I was more nervous to know that they were both growing as they should and healthy. Everything looked wonderful...we saw their hearts, stomachs, kidneys, brains, bones, etc...all perfect (I have a DVD of the ultrasound and will put it up when I figure out the whole video posting thing).


We are beyond excited to have our future Baylor baseball players/class of 2030 on the way. This entire time I told Jeff I was pretty sure we had two boys, which is perfect...everyone we know is having boys and my brother's two kiddos are boys...they will have many little friends to play with. I can't wait to watch them grow up (but not too fast) and be best friends.

My 19 week belly shot

I definitely feel like my belly is looking bigger...come October I will probably look at this picture and laugh at how I thought I was huge. My doctor said I am measuring around 24 weeks and I also gained 10 pounds from my last doctor's visit (only 3 1/2 weeks earlier)...I almost fell off the scale when I saw what it said. I'm not quite sure how I got there, but my doctor wasn't concerned and said we would worry if it had been something like 17. Really it is just a sign to me that the boys are growing and everything is good...now, if it becomes 10 pounds every month I might freak out.

We are pretty sure we have the boys' names picked out, but I will keep everyone in suspense and save it for another post. We have also ordered their furniture and it should be here in 8 weeks...hopefully sooner. I can't wait to get started on their room and will post many more pics as we go.
