Ethan got his Doc band today, and as you can see it didn't go too bad. I had imagined a scream fest and him trying to pull it off but it didn't (and still doesn't) really phase him. Right now he is wearing it in 3-4 hour intervals and then off for an hour to check for skin irritation and redness from the pressure points of the band. We will do this today and tomorrow to make sure all is OK and then on to 23 hours a day starting Thursday. He probably won't sleep in it tonight and will start with that tomorrow night. So far it hasn't seemed to limit his activity...he is playing, sitting, scoot crawling and pretty much getting into everything as I type this. The only thing he's having to get used to is rolling from back to tummy...I'm sure it won't take too long though. Here are a few pictures from the appointment today...

"Seriously, I've got to be here too? You know I've got better things to do!"
"OK, I guess this DOC Band thing isn't too bad. I'll wear it if I have too."

*Update from Ethan's ultrasound on Friday...He had no fluid on the brain, Praise The Lord! Which means...He just has a big head like his mama!
