Six Month Stats

Here are the boys' stats (and a few pictures) from their doctor's visit yesterday...

Ethan...

Length - 25 1/2 inches (25th percentile)

Weight - 16 pounds (25th percentile)

I can never remember their head circumferences, but Ethan's head is still growing at a faster rate than it should. So, tomorrow we are going to get an ultrasound of his head done to make sure he has no fluid on the brain. This is much better than a CAT Scan (radiation exposure) or MRI (sedation) but we have to bring something to keep him calm and distracted (such as his bottle)...I'm sure it is going to be lots of fun! (said with a great deal of sarcasm)

Please pray for him tomorrow that it goes well and we find no fluid on his brain. I am really not too worried but anytime there is a possibility of something being wrong I tend to freak out a little bit.

Evan...

Length - 25 1/2 inches (25th percentile)

Weight 18 pounds, 7 ounces (75th percentile, but 97th in weight for height)

I have to just brag on my chubba bubba...during shots, ALL FIVE OF THEM, Evan didn't cry until the very last one. He just sat there and sucked on his paci as if it was nothing. His eyes got a little big each time but that is about it...such a tough little dude.

And while I was talking to the doctor (can we say HORRIBLE posture) Evan decided to have it out with the paper on the table...

Hmm...I'm thinking paper for our first birthday instead of toys!
