Our trip to Breckenridge last week would not have been possible without the help of my parents and Aunt Joanie who drove the long {and boring, if we're adding in my opinion} two day drive from California.  It made leaving, for the first time since the boys were born, easy and stress free knowing that they were being well taken care of...and maybe just a little spoiled for six days.  My only requirement of them while we were gone was to take lots and lots of pictures so I could see what the boys were up to without us.  My dad did not disappoint...taking over 600 pictures for me to go through.

The fam arrived on Thursday, July 7th and we left on Saturday, the 9th giving us Friday to hang out and let the boys get used to them being around {not a problem for Ethan, but good for Evan who takes a while to warm up to most people}.  Plus it also gave me time to go over schedules, food, diapers, bedtime and bath routines, etc...all the stuff a paranoid mama worries about when leaving her children for the first time. :)

It didn't take too long for the boys to get excited about our house guests...and who wouldn't be excited with the fun phones, calculators, and electronic solitaire games that also came to visit.  It was endless fun for Ethan and Evan walking around with them while my parents and aunt were here.

My friend Meg had invited us to go to the Mayborn Museum on that Friday so our twinkies could have some play time together.  We had a blast playing and showing my family one of our favorite places to go in Waco.  It also allowed Evan to show them what a pill he could be while getting his shoes on {fun times for the week ahead}...

After our day of fun, McAlister's for lunch, nap time, a little more playtime and Chuy's for dinner the boys were exhausted...but not too tired for a little dessert...we made root beer floats when we got home and they LOVED them...

My parents got them these super cute cups that go in the freezer to keep your drink/ice cream cold.  The straws that come with them are also spoons so the boys had fun drinking and eating their floats.

After bath time, cleaning up all of our sticky root beer mess and getting ready for bed the boys got to open some treats that gramma and grampa brought with them.  They were so excited...isn't Ethan's face just priceless?!?!  New toys are always so much fun.

Reading with Gramma before bed.

I'd say my boys are pretty darn lucky to have so many people that love them.  I know they had a great week hanging with Gramma, Grampa, and Aunt Joanie.  Y'all are welcome ANYTIME to come back and watch Ethan and Evan...I'm sure with all of the fun they had they never knew we were gone!
