Mother's Day Out

I look at this picture and it amazes me how old the boys look.  Almost three years old.  All the old ladies that would stop me in the store when they were babies and tell me to enjoy them because life goes by so fast were totally right.  Three years was a lifetime when we couldn't get pregnant and three years has flown once they got here.

This picture was from the first day of Mother's Day Out.  The boys started going on September 11th at a local church here in town.  We are going on Tuesdays from 8:45 - 2:30 and they absolutely love it.  They call it school and are so excited to carry their bags and lunch boxes every time they go.

The week before school started the boys had a meet the teacher day where we got to go see their classroom and meet their teachers.  They jumped right in and started playing with the toys set up all over the room.  I didn't get any pictures with their teachers but got of few of them playing...

We love the blocks.

The fun school bus.

We finished up with lunch at our new Which Wich after meet the teacher...so excited to have one in Waco now!

First day of school...walking right in with Daddy.

This is how we left Evan.  He was fine and happy until he had to give up his lunch box and put it on the shelf.  He was not too thrilled.

Ethan was a little sad to give up his lunch box too but quickly moved on when he realized their were cars to play with.

Overall, it was a great first day...Evan eventually made it up off the floor.  My friend Cathy happened to be driving by during their recess and saw them both running around and playing with friends, they ate all their lunch and both slept during nap time.  Every Tuesday since they have walked right in without crying which makes this teacher's heart very happy.  I love having kiddos that love going to school and hope it will always be that way.

After school we stopped by Sonic for slushies...a perfect ending for a fun first day.

Love my big kid, going-to-school boys!
