We took the boys to our friends the Cooneys annual pumpkin party again this year. It was a perfect, sunny, cool day to hang with friends, enjoy good food, and decorate a few pumpkins. The boys were super fast at picking out pumpkins and this the only shot I got of them in the patch. Boys on a mission...they new what they were after and got it done!
We took the little pumpkins back to the tables and decorated them with puffy paint, stickers, googley eyes, etc. to make them as cute as could be.
Our finished pumpkin people, who actually look more like girls than boys with the eyelash eyes.
The real fun of the party were the bounce houses and balls...pure entertainment for hours.
With our friends Cambell and Grayer Cook...love these kiddos!
Our traditional "No pictures mommy" picture...but this time I caught him before his hand was in front of his face.
It was already a cool day but as soon as the sun started to go down it got even colder pretty fast. The camp fire is where we hung out towards the end of the party...warming our hands and making 'smores.
A little game of croquet before leaving...
And a little family shot (sans Evan, who you can't see flailing around on the ground next to me because he didn't want to be in the picture). Ethan didn't want to be in the picture either but he at least sat in Jeff's lap, giving us the "oh-so-thrilled" face.
You know it was a fun day when both boys fall asleep almost immediately on the drive home. It was such a great party and I'm already looking forward to next year!
