Baylor Homecoming is this weekend...one of my favorite weekends of the year! Being up late for the bonfire last night and up early this morning for the parade, the boys were done and are now taking a much needed nap. Jeff is at the game which means I get to have a little relaxing time on the couch watching the game from home.
For the parade this morning we weren't in our usual spot but instead got up close front row seats with the Schneider crew. Not great for picture taking of the boys but fun for watching everything go by. I didn't get many pictures until one of the floats got stuck and the parade came to stop for a while. I was able to get in the street and got a few...
The best part of the parade stopping was getting to play some football in the street. I happened to have a couple of footballs with us and the boys went nuts running around with all of the other kids. I'm pretty sure they would have rather done this all day than watch the parade go by.
The break also gave me a chance to get a picture of just Jeff and me...which never, ever, ever happens.
Finally the parade got going again and we watched a bit before getting to my FAVORITE part of the day...Dr. Pepper Floats! To say the boys loved them would be the understatement of the year. They ate until nothing was left and would have had another if we let them.
When the parade was over we left by way of all the parked floats which the boys had fun looking at. Mr. "No Pictures" Evan wouldn't get up by the bear on one of the floats so I only got pictures of Ethan...loving every minute of it!
It was another fun homecoming and we are already looking forward to next year!
