The boys got to dye Easter eggs for the very first time ever this last weekend. To say they were so excited is an understatement...they couldn't contain themselves. I totally remember doing this as a kid and I think I was just as excited as the boys. I cant remember the last time I colored eggs. While the eggs were boiling I got all of the color cups ready. The boys just pushed their chairs right on over to the island and watched while I prepared.
They got a kick out of watching the tablets fizz away and then the cups getting filled up with water.
Some of the eggs all lined up and ready to be colored.
Love his excited face.
Watching and waiting patiently...we weren't too patient so the eggs didn't stay in the cups for too long.
Second round, with a little help from Grandpa who was in town for the weekend.
"Look at all of these beautiful stickers Mommy." {Beautiful is Ethan's new word of the week}
While the eggs were drying, the boys found all of the egg decorations that came in the box. Of course our eggs would not be complete without the "beautiful stickers" so we added a few to make them pretty.
The tongue out with such concentration.
The smile on Ethan's face says it all...they had so much fun dyeing their Easter eggs and making them beautiful!
