Fun with Chalk {and Sticks}

Weather has been a little nutty around here...hot, then cold, hot again, down to freezing.  Just when I think I can pack up all of the boys' jeans, sweaters, and long sleeve stuff we get hit with cold weather AGAIN!  We are definitely taking advantage of the warm days {since they are not scorching HOT yet} and spending as much time outside as possible.

Included in Grandpa's Easter basket this year was sidewalk chalk and the boys have been itching to use it.  On one of our recent warm days we had some fun drawing on the ground {and playing with a few sticks}.

"Hey Mama, it's a cool stick."

I think I will never understand boys and their fascination with leaves, sticks, rocks, dirt, bugs, etc. but I sure do think they look adorable squatting down to check it all out.

Chalk...it's good for other things besides drawing.  The boys enjoyed lining them up, stacking them, and then putting them in piles...

Such a fun relaxing day...oh, how we love being outside!
