Christmas 2009

Oh my heavens how sad I am that Christmas is over. I love everything about this time of year...I am usually anxiously awaiting for Thanksgiving to be over so I can drag all of my decorations out, love working on our card to send out, get SO excited the first time I hear a Christmas song on the radio, and most importantly love what this holiday means...getting to celebrate my Savior's birth. With the boys being here I have felt a little preoccupied, running on autopilot...I feel like it all came and went so fast this year. I would have been content to keep everything decorated at least another month. Don't be surprised if you get in my car in July and I still have Christmas music playing.

Ethan and Evan being here has made this year so extra special. I remember last year at this time being so discouraged thinking kids might never be a possibility and now this year we are a family of FOUR! LOVE the picture below my dad took of our little family on Christmas day...

Christmas was at our house this year. We do the every other year thing with Jeff's and my families and this year we were supposed to be in California. Since the babies were too little to travel, everyone came to us. It was sad not seeing the rest of my family but I LOVED having Christmas at our house. My brother and his fam drove down from Dallas on Christmas Eve and stayed a few days...SUPER fun having all of our kids together. I can only imagine what it will be like in a few years with all of them running around...it's hard to believe that just next year ours will be 13 months old at Christmas.

Family picture...Matt, Kristi, Caden, Dad, Mom, Carson, Me, Ethan, Jeff, and Evan

Below is a slide show of a few pictures from Christmas. Jeff's family also came in the day after Christmas and stayed for a few days. Loved getting to see them, especially Shelli (Jeff's sister), Steve and the kiddos...who we don't get to see that often.
