OH. MY. ACHING. BODY.

So, I got on the treadmill on Monday for the first time in almost a year...the bad news is IT HURT, the good news...IT HURT! I now realize I have a very long road ahead of me to get in shape and gain back pretty much all the muscle I lost. It's amazing what 9 months of "taking it easy" can do to you. I can fit in all my old clothes, which is all great and wonderful, but I seriously have no muscle. So not excited to get back to the dreaded lunges and weights but can't wait to be in a place where running doesn't seem like it is going to kill me. It's the one thing I missed the most about being prego with the boys. My goal, if I can keep with it, is to run the White Rock Half Marathon in Dallas next December. At least I have a year to get myself there.

And because I think posts are boring without pictures...here is my belly one week before giving birth. CRAZY HUGE!! I was a whopping 45 inches all the way around the night we went to the hospital. I don't remember myself being this big...it kind of explains all the comments and looks I got from people at the end. Now it just hurts looking at it. I did say I would never post a belly pic again but it is what it is and this what I looked like. Hope everyone gets a kick out of seeing it...

Well dear, you were definitely all babies! Besides your tummy, you could barely tell you were prego! And it is beautiful because of what a beautiful thing it is to carry our children! You can do it!
