Summer is so stinkin' hot here in Texas...something that you think I would get used to after living here for 16 years. Sadly I have not...I may have adapted and gotten used to drinking sweet tea but I'll take a California summer any day over a Texas one...it's the one thing I miss the most.
Most days we get dressed and go to lunch with Jeff just to get out of the house and give us something to do...but, on days when we stay home it's sometimes easier {and way cooler} to let the E's run around in their diapers...which sometimes I think they much prefer. Last year at this time we had a true reason to go sans clothes...Ethan spit up all over everything and it wasn't worth it to waste an outfit. This year I'm thinking it's my laziness or the fact that they protest getting dressed or that's it's just plain cooler to be naked...whatever the reason the boys love their naked summer days.
And...wearing only diapers is quite convenient when having messy spaghetti for dinner and the E's would much prefer to eat with their fingers...
We may be messy but at least we're stayin' cool!
