Got Cereal??

Look what we have been trying out at our house...

We started cereal a few weeks ago and it has gotten mixed reviews. Evan loves it and eats it right up (surprise surprise). He gets so excited when I put him in his high chair. Ethan is still not so sure. He is getting better but his favorite part by far is trying to get his hands on the spoon before it gets to his mouth. Now about half of the food stays in his mouth as opposed to none of it when we first started. There are a TON of pictures below from the first couple of days...this is actually narrowed down from all of the ones I took.

Hanging out in our brand new highchairs, which I have to add that I LOVE...

The boys waiting for me to make cereal with their favorite toys...and yes I knew we would be a mess and probably needed bibs or should have gone sans clothes but it was the end of the day and we were already a mess I didn't even bother.

Day One...

Ethan had this terrified look on his face every time the spoon came near his mouth.

He had not a clue what to do with the cereal in his mouth. Most of the time he looked like this.

Evan...poor baby has inherited his dad's allergies. I didn't realize how puffy and red his eyes were until I looked at these pictures. He figured it all out pretty quickly and gobbled the cereal right up.

Day Two...

It's much more fun when you can add a bib to the mess.

So far we have just tried rice cereal and oatmeal, but this week we are moving on to our first veggie...should be interesting! I'm sure I will have a gazillion more pictures to share!
